Driftwater Fishing - Oswego NY 

We specialize in trophy fishing for King Salmon and Brown or Lake trout in Lake Ontario. Our boat “Driftwater” is a 31 Tiara located on the Orange dock, all the way at the end of the dock in Wright’s Landing Marina, in Oswego, New York. This vessel is capable of carrying up to six anglers plus crew. It’s a big heavy boat that excels in comfort, amnesties, and rough water fishing.
I personally run all my charters. I grew up on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario and know it intimately. I have over 25 years of experience as a charter captain and will do my best to make sure you have a fun and safe day, full of fishing. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, or King and Coho Salmon, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
April to May is Brown Trout, Lake Trout and possibly Salmon.
June to September we are typically targeting Salmon but can also target Brown Trout or Lake Trout if the Salmon bite is slow. We are predominantly trolling during these trips using down riggers, divers, and planner boards.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid NYS fishing license ahead of your trip.
