If you’re dreaming of hooking a big one and reeling in your personal best, you don’t have to go to the remote islands of the Pacific or Atlantic for amazing offshore fishing. Everything you need is at your doorstep, right here in Montego Bay, with Marlin Madness leading the way.
Climb aboard Captain David Charley’s boat, an impressive 42’ Bertram offshore sport fisherman. She’s quite roomy and allows for 6 anglers to fish in comfort, without worrying about crowding a certain side of the boat. You can recharge your batteries between epic fights inside the spacious cabin where you have a full-head toilet and kitchen for added comfort.
She’s fully equipped to give you an edge when going after pelagic beasts too. A flybridge allows you to spot top-feeding fish from far away. Outriggers and downriggers extend your reach and let you set more lines when trolling, perfect for going after Marlin, Mahi Mahi, or Barracuda. Once you hook a big boy, strap in the onboard fighting chair and let the battle start!
Capt. David is an avid angler – he frequently participates in local tournaments and carries home the victory! He’ll lend his vast experience to you on any trip, whether you’re going after a Blacktip Shark or Yellowfin Tuna he’ll give you the know-how to reel one in. If you’re feeling adventurous you can try kite fishing – it’s a fantastic way of fishing for Sailfish!
You will be provided with all the required equipment on this charter. There’s no minimum age for kids and the captain will provide PFDs in all sizes. You can also expect snacks and drinks on trips, to keep your energy up. Longer trips even include a light lunch.
So, if you’re ready for an adrenaline rush as you battle a big beast from the blue, book a trip with Marlin Madness – you’ll see just why they’re named the way they are!
