Florida Attitude Charters
Looking to explore Florida’s world-famous inshore waters for the chance to hook some saltwater superstars? Come down to Fort Myers and join Captain Matt Kelliher aboard Florida Attitude Charters. The name says it all – Capt. Matt is a native Floridian fisherman through and through! He can’t wait to use his years of experience to help you reel in the catch of your dreams on an angling adventure that offers a truly local touch.
Capt. Matt has fished all over, from the Bahamas to Cape Cod. He’s well-acquainted with many different fishing grounds, but none of them beat the waters he grew up with! He loves the diverse fishery that this part of Florida has to offer, as well as the species on offer. Whether you want to add some local flair to your family vacation, or are looking to hook the Redfish of your dreams, Capt. Matt can’t wait to introduce you to these flats and back bays.
You’ll be cruising inshore waters on a 20’ Florida Fisher flats boat, perfectly built to tackle narrow mangroves and seriously shallow waters. She can accommodate up to 4 anglers, and is decked out with top-of-the-line navigational and safety gear. On board, you’ll also find a wireless trolling motor, so you’ll be able to sneak up on your dream catch without spooking the fish! Capt. Matt has just one request – no black soled shoes on the boat.
As for the species on offer, it’s a real “who’s who” of Floridian favorites! What you’ll catch depends on when you want to travel. If you’re looking to hook huge Redfish, join Capt. Matt during the morning or daytime. Want to battle the hard-fighting Snook? These fish come out at night, so join your captain on an evening trip! When it comes to the “Silver King” (Tarpon), a longer trip will give you plenty of time to win the fight against this feisty fish.
Your trip includes top-notch rods and reels, as well as fly fishing equipment – but feel free to bring your favorite rod. Join Florida Attitude Charters for an exciting angling adventure, local-style!
