Skip grew up in upstate New York, fishing all sorts of ponds, lakes, rivers, and streams. Moved to South Florida in 1989 where he turned his fishing to Florida waters. He moved to the Lake Ida chain in 1997 and has been fishing there ever since.

The vessel you’ll use for fishing is a 20’ G3 aluminum fishing boat that can accommodate up to 3 anglers. There’s also an ice-box you can use to keep your food and drinks cool and a livewell to provide you with live bait.

You and Captain Skip will be fishing Lake Ida for Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Clown Knife, and other exotic species. You’ll be using light tackle to attract it and reel it in, and you’ll be releasing all the fish you catch. Your kids will love Captain Skip and his awesome way of fishing. As for the things included in the price, the captain will provide you with rods and reels and all the terminal tackle needed, along with the life vests that are required on the vessel.
