Tigress Charters offers to take you to the rich and beautiful waters of Baja California Sur, Mexico. For the past 20 years, the Tigress has fished and navigated most of the West Coast from Alaska to Panama. Now residing in Los Cabos and Southern California, the Tigress is a part-time charter boat and the perfect platform for anything from fishing to expeditions to just cruising along the coast. Meet Captain Jarred Davidson in San Jose Del Cabo and come aboard his 93’ of pure comfort and luxury to experience fishing from one of the greatest fishing platforms on the West Coast.

The boat you’ll use is a Nordlund motor yacht that can accommodate 6 anglers. Running on twin 400 HP Caterpillar 3408 engines and using full-featured navigation electronics, the boat will take you to the fish in no time. It’s accessible to guests in wheelchairs and has got a flybridge, private toilet, kitchen, shower, and bed. Its amenities include air-conditioning, a multimedia system, TV, refrigerator, and an ice-box. The boat’s also extensively rigged with fishing equipment, featuring tuna tubes, outriggers, downriggers, snorkeling gear, and a livewell.

Some of the many prized species you can chase include Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, Striped Marlin, Broomtail Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Sierra Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, and Roosterfish. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom and deep sea fish, troll, jig, pop, and even kite fish. You can choose to keep or release your catch and you’re free to bring kids aboard.

Captain Jarred provides everything from all the fishing gear to snacks, lunch, and drinks to fishing licenses. Also, he can clean and fillet your catch free of charge.

    3/4 day trips target the inshore fishery around San Jose. During these trips, you'll typically fish for Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Sierra Mackerel, Jack, and Roosterfish. However, Tuna, Marlin, Dorado, and even Swordfish can also be found on these trips, so be prepared! On your adventure, expect to encounter lots of marine life such as whales, turtles, dolphins, and manta rays. Your trip includes pickup/dropoff, catered breakfast/lunch, drinks, beer, alcohol, and snacks.

    These trips range up to 25 miles offshore. You'll typically fish for Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, and other pelagic species. If offshore fishing is slow, you can opt for inshore fishing on the bountiful reefs near San Jose. Expect to meet rich marine life on your journey, such as whales, dolphins, turtles, as well as manta rays. Your trip comes with pickup and dropoff, catered breakfast and lunch, drinks, beer, alcohol, and snacks.

Born and raised in Southern California, Captain Jarred was introduced to the ocean at an early age. As the years went on, he became more and more obsessed with fishing. After his first attempt at college, he decided the boat life was the life for him. So here he is doing what he loves the most in his favorite place in the world, Cabo!
