SeaKing Adventures invites you on a memorable fishing trip in British Columbia Canada. Join Captain Ron King on this fishing adventure and have a lovely time fishing nearshore on ocean waters. You’ll use his authentic 42’ commercial fishing boat to use fishing traps to chase Crab and Prawn like the pros, as well as enjoy the beautiful Golf Islands and its abundance of marine wildlife.

We can accommodate 17 guests for wildlife viewing and parties. On
fishing adventures, we can accommodate up to 12 fishing and 5 none fishing.

When the captain and first mate welcome you on board, they will teach you how to set up Crab and Prawn traps and bait them. Then you will be off to the local waters to set them out, so expect to get dirty. While you wait for a few hours, Captain Ron will break out the rods as well so you can mooch for some other fish and have lunch. He will then retrieve all the traps and put them away and, hopefully, you will have some fresh seafood to share.

Your boat is a restored 42’ commercial fishing boat that can accommodate 12 people fishing. It runs on a 500 HP Detroit 12/71 diesel engine and uses comprehensive electronics for safe and quick navigation. It is equipped with outriggers and downriggers so we can fish near the ocean floor.

The onboard facilities include a flybridge, toilet, shower, and kitchen. Captain Ron can also accommodate guests in wheelchairs. During your trip, you can use a refrigerator as well as enjoy a stereo system.

The species you can target include Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod, Cod, Crab, Prawn, and more. You can attract them using heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging. You will keep the fish you catch and the crew will clean and bag it for you. Kids are welcome to join aboard.

Captain Ron provides all the equipment, cookies, coffee, and tea. You need to buy online tidal fishing licenses before starting the trip.
