Fish Trap Charters offers exciting trips ranging from half days to overnight adventures on the prolific waters of Orange Beach, Florida. With a successful career of over a decade, the crew have mastered the waters and know where the fish are biting.

You will go out aboard the ‘Fish Trap II,’ a 35’ Resmondo with a 13,5’ bream. Her twin 300 HP Cummins engines will power you to the hottest grounds in the area. The Fish Trap II is fully outfitted with Raymarine and Garmin GPS, a widescreen Raymarine fish finder, a West Marine VHF radio, and a 72-mile Raymarine radar. With these top-notch navigational and fish finding electronics, you won’t have to waste time while searching for fish!

The Fish Trap II has a full head and a large cabin with plenty of room for up to six anglers. The crew make every effort possible to keep the Fish Trap II clean and comfortable. All aboard!

Whichever trip you have in mind, the captain and his crew will make it happen. Test the waters and troll for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Bluefish, and Jack Crevalle.  Or combine a variety of fishing methods, such as bottom fishing, trolling, and flatlining. Head up to 20 miles out for reef species, including Lane Snapper, Shark, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Snapper, Amberjack, and more.

Take as many fish species of your personal angling bucket list as you can. Target Cobia, Grouper, Triggerfish, and don’t forget about Red Snapper. Or dedicate your time on the water to fishing for Tuna. The choice is yours!

All trips come with licenses, quality rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures. The fish cleaning and filleting service are available at a small charge (30 cents/lb).
