Blue Light Charters welcomes you for a fun-packed fishing experience in South Carolina! Starting out of Johns Island, you and Captain Derrick Bray can explore rivers, lakes, inshore and nearshore grounds, as well as flats and backcountry waters and search for many different fish species. The captain is a US Air Force Veteran and a lifelong passionate angler who’ll do everything to make your trip successful and enjoyable. Whether you’re a die-hard angler or brand new to fishing, give him a call and schedule your Lowcountry fishing adventure!

Your boat for the day will be a 20’ Robalo bay boat with room to accommodate up to 6 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha engine and is rigged with GPS, fishfinder, as well as radio technology uses for safe and efficient navigation. The boat features a wireless trolling motor, an ice-box, and is equipped with a livewell.

Some of the great species you can catch on your trip include Largemouth Bass, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, Flounder, Bonnethead Shark, and Whiting. Using light and heavy tackle, you can attract your prey by bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and popping. You decide if you’ll keep the fish you catch or release it. Also, feel free to bring kids on your trip as the atmosphere can only get better with the young ones aboard.

Captain Derric will supply you with the rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, as well as fishing licenses. Bring some food and drinks before you leave the dock and you’ll be all set for the fun.

Come enjoy fishing with Blue Light Charters and create many fond memories on the water!

This trip is a great choice for anglers who want extra fishing time for an affordable price.

This trip is similar to the half day trip but does offer a bit more travel. Being an 8-hour trip, it gives you more opportunity to do some harbor or even nearshore fishing. You could even do a split creek/river fishing for 4 hours and then fish the harbor or nearshore the other 4 hours. Don't forget to bring some food and drinks.
