Executive Saltwater Charters is a full-service private deep sea fishing charter service in Shalimar that offers 4 to 10-hour excursions designed specifically around each client, group, or family. Whether it’s a half or full day of fishing, Master Captain Barry Wilson and his crew guarantee a fun day for all.
The crew’s 32’ Cape Horn center console provides plenty of room and seating for up to 6 guests, including kids. The boat comes with a wireless trolling motor, a livewell, outriggers, and an ice box. You’ll also have a first mate on board to tend to all your needs including baiting your hook, gaffing the giants, and professionally cleaning your catch at the end of your trip.
You’ll start off your fishing expedition by stopping at the local bait boat (when available and during peak season) or to catch your own. You’ll then head straight out looking for King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and Blackfin Tuna nearshore to get you on the fish fast. For the second part of the trip, the captain will anchor offshore to catch some good eats such as Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack (all contingent on the season).
You can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, and jigging.
All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. Keep in mind that smoking isn’t allowed.
