While fishing, you can also have fun snorkeling as well as observe the Komodo dragon in the wilderness of Komodo Island. The boat you’ll be using is a restored 32’ GT70 angler boat that can fit up to 4 guests. Running on twin 220 HP Yamaha engines, the boat will quickly take you to the fish and back. Apart from navigation electronics, the boat’s equipped with snorkeling gear, outriggers, downriggers, as well as tuna tubes. There’s a portable toilet you can use and there’s an ice-box so you can store your fish.
The species you can catch include Yellowtail Snapper, Ehu, Blue Marlin, Dogtooth Tuna, Gilt-head, Bluenose Warehou, and Great Barracuda. Using heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, jig, and pop to catch your prey. Some species have to be released but you’re free to keep the other. Smoking and alcohol aren’t allowed during the trip. Also, you’re welcome to bring kids on the boat.
Captain Ignasius supplies you with lunch, snacks, as well as drinks. You should bring your fishing equipment and licenses.
