I hope I got the crew’s names correct…. But either way we had an amazing time!

Scheduled a 6 hour morning fishing excursion a couple of months in advanced. The booking process was very easy and direct communication from a company representative happened fairly quickly. All of the arrival instructions were communicated directly through the FishingBooker messaging system and were extremely thorough. Follow ups and direct pricing/balance information was also communicated in advanced, and multiple times afterwards, including the day before the trip.

We decided to use a separate transportation service (versus theirs) to bring us to the marina meeting spot. The Chartier team also reached out to us 15 mins prior to scheduled arrival time to ensure we were in the way and ensured we knew where to arrive.

Check in process was quick, balance payment is required before boarding the boat. Please be aware that there is an additional $9 per person docking fee, which is not included in the fishingbooker rate. This gets paid at the time of service as well, with the remaining balance owed.

All of the Chartier Del Mar team members were extremely nice, and communication in English was not an issue. We arrived at 6:45 for our 7am departure and we were off the dock by 7:03! Timeliness is much appreciated!!!

We had 4 people with our group: two men , 1 female adult and an 8 year old kid! The crew was extremely accommodating, explained rules extensively and were very attentive throughout the whole trip! We caught tons of fish… including a HUGE 54 inch barracuda! The largest barracuda the crew had seen in quite some time! Everyone in our crew was able to reel and catch something!!! We brought a few extra of our own beverages and snacks and they had ice available for us to place our drinks into!

Crew was extremely accommodating and attentive to the kid we had with us… ensuring he was always involved in the action which is also much appreciated!

Amazing trip… definitely the highlight of our 7 day vacation in Playa Mujeres. Everyone had a blast and it will definitely be a memorable experience!!

We had a wonderful trip with captain Ricardo and crew Daniel and Ricardo #2. It was really rough out there in the morning and a few of us weren’t feeling too hot so we didn’t go as far out as planned. But once the wind calmed down it was perfect!
The crew worked so hard the entire time to get us on some fish and they did! Lots of bonito for bait and 4 triggerfish and 3 barracuda and some other we threw back. Stopped and snorkeling around Isla Muerjes which was amazing after a long trip. All while the prepared triggerfish ceviche and barracuda Tikin Xic on the grill. We all agreed it was the best meal we had so far on our Cancun trip! So worth it! If we come back we will be booking again. 100% recommend

We had an absolutely amazing time fishing with Captain Arturo and Daniel and Ricardo. They put us on fish all day. We caught over 30 fish, 5 different kinds. The great thing was we’d catch a bunch of barracuda, then they’d move to a new spot or use a different bait and we’d catch amberjack. They were always mixing it up. We also caught crevalle jack, bonita, and mojarra. Their boat was clean, bathroom was clean, nice cooler to keep our food in. The drinks they provided were always cold. They were friendly and accommodating, frequently asking if we were doing well, enjoying ourselves, and truly wanted us to have a great time. They had a huge speaker if we had wanted to play music that we could hook up our phones to. That was a first for us and we’ve been out ocean fishing quite a few times in different places. We would definitely go out fishing with them again. After booking they were in contact making sure we’re all on the same page knowing what to expect the day of fishing. The check-in process went smoothly the day of and the lady who guided us to our boat was wonderful. They had someone waiting for us afterwards to walk with us and help us find a taxi to get safely back to our hotel. I don’t think we could think of any suggestions to have made this a better day. Definitely recommend this company!

what a fun time i had with my teen boys- the captain and crew were very friendly and responsive to all our needs and desires.  they helped us catch the big fish we were looking for (including a 49” barracuda for the wall). When we felt queasy towards the end they took us to the shore of Isla Mujeres for a nice cool swim and then gave us fresh ceviche to eat on the prow during the cruise back to Cancun. Highly recommend! Note- when you arrive at Las Perlas marina, you walk around back of the hotel to the small beach.  Chartiers operation runs out of the dock on the left as you face the sea.

This was my 6th time in Cancun and this was by far the best excursion I have been on!!!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience. We booked this fishing trip to celebrate my new husband’s birthday. We were married 2 days before on Halloween so we had a lot to celebrate! The captain and crew went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of what it was, “A once in a lifetime experience”. Thank you, Chartiers Del Mar for providing this experience.
