Rocky Bottom Charters
Welcome to Rocky Bottom Charters in Yankeetown, Florida. Captain JC invites you to enjoy a day on the water with him for inshore and nearshore fishing charters. In the summer, make sure not to miss out on Scallop season. That usually kicks off in July depending on the FWC. You can also enjoy a relaxing trip to the Gulf of Mexico. The captain provides all the equipment you need for a great day on the water.
The boat you’ll use for fishing is a 24’ Scout center console that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. It runs on a 225 Yamaha engine and uses modern GPS and fishfinder electronics to provide you with a quick and safe trip to the fish. The boat has also got a livewell to keep live bait.
You and the captain will fish for Trout, Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Flounder, Sheepshead, Pompano, Grouper, and many more respectable species.
Using light and heavy tackle, you can catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, as well as jigging. You choose whether you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.
The fishing tackle, live bait, as well as drinks will be waiting for you when you arrive. Also, Captain Justin covers you for fishing licenses and will clean and fillet your catch after the trip. You’ll only need to bring some food before departing.
Enjoy your day on the water and have a fun-packed fishing adventure in this part of Florida!
