Looking to fish? Look no further!
Come spend a day fishing with Capt. Mark Martin, the owner and operator of San Diego Saltwater Fishing Charters. Bring the family, friends, or just yourself, and see what the waters off the coast of San Diego have to offer. From bay fishing to offshore trips for Tuna, Capt. Mark’s number one focus is you! If you are interested in seeing what California’s sports fishing has to offer, look no further, Captain Mark has you covered!
Never caught Tuna before!? That is Capt. Mark’s specialty!
His boat is a 30’ Parker pilothouse boat that runs on twin 200 HP Yamaha engines. It is equipped with full-featured navigation electronics, a Tuna tower with a second driving station, a portable toilet, and a livewell for bait. There’s also an ice-box you can use for storing fish or drinks. The boat can fit up to 4 anglers.
All fishing trips will depart out of Sun Road Marina located in San Diego Bay. Once on board, you and the captain will leave the marina starting with a short run to the San Diego Bait barge to load up on fresh live bait – sardines or anchovies.
Species that the captain fishes for include Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail, Swordfish, Calico Bass, Barracuda, Bonito, Marlin, White Seabass, Lobster, and more! Fishing methods consist of trolling, live bait fly lining, dropper loop fishing on the bottom with live bait, casting jigs, and artificial lures.
Your trip includes all the fishing rods, tackle, live bait, lures, catch cleaning, as well as a cooler with ice and water. You can add your own drinks and food to the cooler.
All guests are required to have a valid California fishing license whether fishing or not. Please have licenses bought prior to your day of fishing.
Not sure what trip is best for you? Shoot Captain Mark a message so he can help you pick the right trip for you.
San Diego Saltwater Fishing Charter looks forward to fishing with you soon!
