Captain Shaun knows exactly how to provide a productive and enjoyable fishing trip. He firmly believes in making the most of life and is eager to give you a gripping adventure out on the water.
Your trip will take place on a 36’ 2020 Defiance 290 Guadalupe offshore sport fishing boat. Thanks to her twin 300 HP Yamaha V6 4.2L engines and best navigation electronics, she’ll take you to your fishing spots in no time. Kids of all ages are welcome. She has also got a private toilet, bed, live bait tank, and an ice box.
If you want to stay inshore, you and the crew will be fishing along San Diego’s pristine coastline. Fishing from Point Loma, across Mission Bay, and up to La Jolla, you’ll have a lovely time discovering outstanding shallow waters. On inshore trips, you’ll be bottom fishing for Lingcod, Rockfish, Bass, California Sheephead, Halibut, Yellowtail, and many more delicious species to take home.
Offshore grounds allow you to chase hard-fighting big game fish. Here, you can troll the open ocean and try your hand at kite fishing as you get ready to battle these monster species. You can target Yellowfin, Skipjack, and Bluefin Tuna, as well as Mahi Mahi and Yellowtail. Not only do these powerful creatures put up a fierce fight but they can also be excellent table fare.
Captain Shaun provides all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, as well as catch cleaning and filleting. Bring any food and drinks you like (no glass bottles), suitable clothing, sun protection, and fishing licenses. Alcohol is allowed. Start times can be adjusted.
Pelican Sportfishing is eager to provide you with a trip of a lifetime!
