Captain Justin was very good about communication, calling days before to get a game plan. Caught lots of fish that my son saved and plans to eat for many dinners. And the trip ended with a cool shark catch (which was too beautiful to keep so we released her😁).
Perfect half day so you can do fish fry for other half!!

lines out and taking fish off our hooks and into
the cooler.  We had a great trip and will be back
with more friends and family.  They have a great
boat with rods, bait, snacks, and even a bathroom
on board.  I highly recommend Sea J’s charter fishing
at North Myrtle Beach with Captain Justin!

We had an amazing time on the water fishing with Captain Justin and his mate. Justin was early to meet us and very accommodating with a change we had in plans. The forecast for the early morning was clear but proved otherwise when we got on the ocean. A bad storm was coming in and Justin communicated with us the entire time we were out about safety on the water during storms.  My husband and I both each caught a Spanish Mackerel. His mate (sorry didn’t catch his name) was polite and knowledgeable and we enjoyed talking to him during the trip.  The storm began moving in very quickly and our trip was cut short not for lack of trying though.  For safety reasons we headed back in.  We were very appreciative of Captain Justin’s knowledge and awareness of the impending storm and concern for all our safety.

The boat was clean and very well taken care of.  There were coolers to bring your own drinks on board and music available.  Everything was provided necessary for fishing and his mate baited hooks, set the lines and when the bites came let us reel the fish in.
We will definitely be booking again thanks to the great experience we had on this trip. I would highly recommend Captain Justin for anyone that wants to have a great time and feel comfortable and safe!

Wish we could give more stars ⭐️  First attempt at the trip Justin gave us the option of rescheduling because the conditions weren’t, in Justin’s words, “favorable to give us the experience he wanted us to have”.  So AFTER boating out a few miles we turned around and rescheduled for two days later.  The fishing was great!  He knew right where to go to get us in the fish we told him we wanted to catch.  We were able to pull in some Mahi Mahi, Black Finned Tuna and King Mackerel.  Justin made sure we got pictures and enjoyed the moment and then got right back to the next catch.  Justin and his crew were just as excited about our catches as we were and helped out all along the way.  They were fun, friendly and professional.  By the time you even got your line in the water it was like you were spending the day with a fishing buddy, rather than being with a guide.  Our trip was cut short due to a storm rolling in, but he kept us fishing until he deemed it no longer safe for us to stay and got us back to shore in time before the storm hit.  Justin unexpectedly adjusted the price for our shortened trip.  The boat is beautiful, comfortable, and clean.  There is a bathroom!! A clean bathroom!!  There’s an icebox to keep your food and drinks, just don’t bring glass bottles, Justin doesn’t allow them on the boat and then will make fun of you the whole trip for not listening to directions…in a fun way, of course.  If you’re looking for a charter and want to catch fish and have a great time, book with Justin, you won’t regret it!!

It was an awesome trip with capt. J! The kids had so much fun! We got to hear so many great stories and learned so much during our trip. We can’t wait to go out for a much further fishing trip to catch some bigger fish!!
