The West Coast of Florida offers some of the greatest fishing in the world. You never know what’s going to be on the end of your line - fish of a life time are out there waiting to be caught. Come along and hold on!

Capt. Matt Cowden grew up fishing in these Florida waters. Boats and fishing have always been a passion of his. He is US Coast Guard licensed and fishing guide insured. Inshore fishing has always been his favorite type of fishing. Let Capt Matt share his local knowledge and the pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico with you.

Capt. Matt Cowden fishes from a 22’ Century boat, which can fish 4 adults comfortably.  The boat is set-up for fishing with a color fishfinder/gps, Minn Kota trolling motor, Powerpole anchor system. It has 3 livewells, a canopy for shade, and plenty of rod holders. This boat can get in shallow water and can be a dry ride when the wind picks up.

We fish Shimano and Penn spinning reels loaded with Powerpro braided line and fluorocarbon leaders. Tackle and equipment is provided for use free of charge. Feel free to bring your own lucky tackle, rods, reels, ect. (space can be limited so pack accordingly). We will do our best to accommodate your take-alongs. Please be open to rigging tips and recommendations for fishing these Gulf coast areas.
