Great trip w/ our 4 boys.  Capt & crew worked relentlessly to put us on fish. Promised the wives that we’d bring home dinner for fish tacos. Caught our quota of Cudas & looked for a while like we were gonna have chicken finger tacos for dinner. Lucky we double headered a pair of steamer Blackfin Tunas to save the day. Crushing some sashimi tuna & yellowtail snapper as we speak.  Capt. Paul & Matt were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. Great conversations & a ton of local knowledge & helpful local knowledge. Wouldnt fish w/ anyone else in PR.

Paul and Matt were exceptional guides! Their knowledge of the water and fishing techniques was evident throughout the trip. We had a great time learning about the different fish species and the local ecosystem.

While we all enjoyed the thrill of reeling in fish, it was a bit challenging to keep the kids engaged. It’s important to understand that fishing can be a waiting game, and it might not be the most exciting activity for everyone.

However, the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the delicious fish tacos made with our own catch! It was an incredible experience to taste such fresh fish. Paul’s expertise in cleaning the fish was invaluable, and the restaurant’s preparation was top-notch.

I highly recommend this charter for anyone interested in experiencing the thrill of fishing and the reward of enjoying a fresh seafood meal. Just be prepared for the possibility of long stretches of waiting, especially with younger children.

We booked last minute, trying to decide to snorkel or to fish… until we came across this trip.  It is everything promised and more!  Boat, snorkel stuff, fishing equipment all great… huge coolers plenty of ice!  After a safety meeting, we took off…

We caught 20 or so fish… kept 8 or so, they will make fish tacos with your fish after your trip.  Snorkeling was amazing… the Caribbean Lobsters are pretty cool!

Like everywhere else in PR, you will find the crew super friendly.  Captain Paul and First Mate Sean moved to the island after Maria.  They are both great duded with life experience beyond fishing…

You will learn the best places to eat, stay, the lighthouse, location of hidden water falls…

As states they deliver as promised, additionally they earned and deserved a good tip!  Plan to go back in January to see the whales and catch Marlin!

Took a 5-hr offshore trip with Captain Paul and mate Matt. Upon arrival at the dock,  Capt. Paul advised that action had been slow offshore recently, but we started the trip in the deeper water at my request. After not finding much luck in the deep water, we moved back closer to shore and immediately started catching fish as Paul had advised. Caught multiple barracuda and cero mackerel as well as a mutton snapper and a few smaller yellowtail.  Was a fun day on the water with guys who know the area, can put fish in the boat and are clearly stewards of the fishery.  I would highly recommend Fish Slayer charters.

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Paul and his brother Matt. My wife and I caught Barracuda and yellow Jacks inshore and I hooked a monster Blue Marlin. We battled over a half an hour the marlin kept diving and running out my line and I would fight for every inch of line bringing him back up only for him to dive again and the battle was on again I was physically and mentally exhausted he got within 10-15 from the boat where we got a good look at him Capt Paul said he was an easy 7 plus foot and at least 200 lbs. just when I thought the fight was over he tried to dive again and the hook popped out. Even though we didn’t get him up along side the boat for a photo opp. I had the time of my life. I am already looking forward to another trip out with Paul and Matt and maybe, just maybe, picking another fight with that Blue Marlin.
