Ocean King Salmon Fishing Charter
McKenzy Sage Haber is located in Homer and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. The bite is on and the fish is hungry. The crew’s combo trips are available year-round! From November 1 to February 28, Tanner Crab and King Salmon specials will also be available. Enjoy 7 hours on the water or book a 2-day lodge special and create memories of a lifetime!
Fish with captains Jeff or Tyler while surrounded by snow-capped, glacier-filled mountains and volcanos in the pristine waters of the Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. Target Wild Feeder and Tyee King Salmon as well as Rockfish while they feed on the surplus of baitfish that swims into the bay every year. Chase tides, diving sea birds, and mixing currents while dodging weather patterns to find the ideal place to troll, jig, and cast for feeding King Salmon and migratory Rockfish.
You can use a mixture of fly-fishing gear, spinning tackle, and conventional trolling gear from brands such as Islander Reels, Mike Quinn Custom Rods, Lamiglass, and Shimano.
Your fishing adventure starts on a restored 29’ Olympic performance fishing boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet, kitchen sink, and an ice-box.
All fishing gear and bait will be provided for you. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. End your day of fishing with your fresh catch prepared at the Harbor Grill right next to the boat, then cap it all off with a cozy night at the crew’s two-bedroom one-bath Alaska Fishing Lodge if you book the Stay & Slay Special.
Book your trip now and hit the water with McKenzy Sage Haber!
