Stouts Fishin Guide Service and Captain Stoney Stout welcome you to Alba, Texas. Pick a day that suits you and join them on a fun-filled lake fishing trip in the area. Capt. Stoney is a lifelong angler with over 10 years of tournament fishing experience. You never know whether you’ll land that prized catch but this captain can guarantee you tactics, knowledge, techniques, and advice on specific styles whether offshore or shallow, so you know you’ve got the edge.

You’ll explore one of lake Fork, Lake Winnsboro, Lake Quitman, or Lake Holbrook aboard a 19’ 2021 Tracker 195 TXW aluminum fishing boat that runs on a 150 HP Mercury Pro four stroke engine. She comes equipped with a Minn Kota Ultrex wireless trolling motor that’s got 2 talons, Lowrance graphs with active targets, and a livewell. The boat can sit up to 3 anglers, and promises a smooth ride.

You and the captain will be fishing for Largemouth and Spotted Bass by bottom fishing and spinning on light or heavy tackle – you decide. The fish you catch has to be released, but that just means plenty of hits. Children are welcome aboard and the captain operates a strict no-alcohol policy, so get ready to get down to business.

Captain Stoney has always hunted and fished from a young age. All through his school years, he used to ride bulls and horses. He had a bunch of jobs from breaking horses, remolding houses, and construction to welding and fitting in fab shops. The captain fished every chance he got to around work. He started winning money in tournaments regularly and decided on being a tournament angler full time, which helped him become a more developed angler. Guiding was always an option in his mind to help bring extra money in, plus he already liked helping other anglers and passing on the knowledge he'd acquired. If he could work and be successful while living the dream... why not? Hopefully, in the years to come, he'll still be fortunate enough to keep doing it.
