Welcome to Silver Fish Inshore Charters. Captain Stephen Washington has one goal in mind each day and that is to create memories for his guest by getting them fish and smiles. He runs a safe and comfortable boat out of Steinhatchee FL and specializes in inshore light tackle fishing with either live bait or lures. If you are new to fishing, don’t worry, live bait fishing is easy to learn and effective. Those who are more experienced may want to use lures, which is also encouraged. This day is for you and your enjoyment so pick your methods and enjoy fishing in Florida.

Trips are out of a brand new Dek Kat 2700 flats catamaran boat. At 27ft it is large and roomy for 4 people to fish out and provides comfortable seating for all. The boat is equipped with a tower to allow the Captain to spot fish and improve the chances of success.

The boat is powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, which helps you quickly reach your fishing spots. It is also equipped with navigation electronics, a wireless trolling motor, and a live well.

On your trip, you will catch fish on light tackle spinning and popping. The wide choice of species you can target includes Jack Crevalle, Snook, Flounder, Sheepshead,  Redfish, as well as Speckled Trout. Kids can come aboard as well, just make sure to ask the captain about life jackets. You are allowed to keep your catch, but the captain recommends releasing it in order to keep the fishery healthy.

During the summer months scalloping is the thing to do. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters out of Deadman’s Bay a pick the scallops out for some great meals or just hang out in the water and enjoy the sun.

SFI Charters also has cabins for our guests that will accommodate up six people and includes a kitchen/gathering area, 2 half baths, 2 full baths, and a laundry area to use free of charge. We provide all the bedding and bath towels for your use.
