Fished two full days with Captain Stephen during the week of March 13. Stephen did a great job for us, starting by being at the dock on time, with a well-equipped clean boat, good quality rods and reels, and a lot of lively bait. I rated the overall experience as good only because of weather conditions which are of course, out of the captains’ hands. In spite of a cold front and high winds, we still landed shark, snook, trout, and of course the always present catfish.  If I ever get to fish in the Sanibel area again, I will gladly spend my money with Silver Fish Inshore Charters.    David

Captain Steve was easy going and very knowledgeable. We were on fish right away.
We used soft baits for the trout and he netted live “white” bait for the reds. Although still a little early in the season for reds … the live bait drew the wary reds out of the mangroves.
The captain fished hard and even added a little more time to put a few more in the boat. Having owned and fished from a boat in New England for + 30 years this was everything I hoped for.

Very personable, knowledgeable, good interactions with the guys on the boat, and explained the fishing in the area. 

Replied on the phone and made the follow up call for directions and what to expect.
Great equipment and boat. 

Went to a number of different spots so we could have the chance to caught a variety of fish.

Nice job of cleaning the fish. 

A fun trip, caught seven different types of fish, saw a manatee, porpoises, and took home supper.

Had a great trip! Water was cold (61 degrees at start) so fish were a bit elusive, but not from lack of trying. Captain Washington was a top notch guide and worked his butt off to get us into fish. We were fishing for speckled trout in the grass flats off Sanibel and Captiva. Boat and tackle were top end. Great day on the water!

I booked this on relatively short notice with my adult son.  The weather was overcast and there was a bit of wind.  The captain was very friendly and responsive.  He did his best to get us through the shallow waters to hopefully find the bigger fish but we didn’t have much luck.  We then switched over to trout fishing and had success there.  He is a newer guide so is learning the waters, but was friendly.  He was committed to finding us fish and my favorite quote from him on the day was “I don’t watch the clock, I want my clients to catch fish.”  To me, that says a lot about the man’s character.
