As soon as we stepped foot on the ground captain Jessi met us with a huge smile and very warm welcome. It didn’t take him long at all to put us on some fish. Even in between catching fish he still kept us entertained with his knowledge of the waters and the surroundings. He did great with making this trip a perfect first experience for the kids. From teaching knots, to helping them cast, and even making sure that they feel confident that they can catch fish. Capt Jessi really knows how to work the entire boat, he’s always paying attention, and is there to help pronto. It’s always great to be with someone who enjoys what they do, and Capt really enjoys being out on the water. I’ve been on charters before, but Capt Jessi by far has had the absolute best customer service you could ask for. I will be a returning customer for years to come.

Our trip with Capt. Jesse was great.  We arrived at the dock 15 minutes early and he was there waiting for us.  We caught a variety of species in early March including flounder, trout, croaker, and others.  Capt. Jesse knew when and where to move to make sure we had the best chance of getting on the fish. He was polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  We were a party of three and never felt cramped or crowded on the boat. Thank you Captain Jesse for a great trip!

Came in November on a terrible weather day but Captain Jesse made it work. I came from NY so it wasn’t too bad but for Floridians it was freezing cold and windy. Jesse put me on a multi-species pile of fish in brutal conditions. He even took what I assume was an unusual run into rough seas, out to basically the open ocean, in order to find some giants! All the equipment was great, bait was plentiful, and Jesse’s knowledge of the history of Fernandina Beach made for interesting conversation. Great trip and will be back next time I’m in the area!

Awesome experience! Captain Jesse communicated greatly, he walked us through everything we needed to do prior to arriving on the boat and he had everything ready for us when we got there. He worked with us throughout the entire day, gave us tips, set our lines, and prepped our bait. We caught some good fish out there. Overall great experience, good conversations and just an overall fun time. He even recorded a video of us and made us a quick video on YouTube! It was awesome! Highly recommend going fishing with him, it will be a great time 10/10!

We absolutely loved Jessie! He told us so many interesting facts about the island and the many fishing spots he took us to. We got to try out the ocean, river, and creek areas! We saw lots of wildlife! Our 9 yo son desperately wanted to catch something, anything, and he got his wish! No keepers this time but Jessie went way above and beyond to accommodate us and make this a fun experience. We will definitely contact him next year when we return!
