Amelia Light Tackle Charters welcomes you aboard a FANTASTIC day of fishing around Amelia Island. You will be under the safe guidance of Captain Jesse Stubbs, a 3rd-generation Captain who knows the waters like the back of his hand… “We’ve lived on Amelia, Cumberland, St. Simons, Sea Island, and Sapelo Island”… Captain Jesse has some really good story’s… He will tell you all about the local history and put you on the fish! Hop aboard and experience fishing like never before in Amelia Island Florida!
The Captain is using a nice, comfortable 21ft Sea Pro. Equipped with a 150HP Yamaha and a 24v Minn Kota trolling motor! It has GPS/SONAR electronics for efficient navigation and features an ice-box, 2 livewells, and a dry storage hatch. Up to 4 guests can comfortably come aboard.
You and the Captain will fish the around inlets, the jetties, inshore waters, and the backwaters. You will use live bait on light tackle in order to attract them… You keep the fish you catch and enjoy delicious meals in the comfort of your home. There are a few restaurants in the area that will cook your catch! Kids are perfect for this trip. Captain Jesse will teach you the magic technique’s and take the time to make sure EVERYONE is learning. Kids are welcome to, net the bait, tie knots, play in the livewell or even swim down and retrieve old lure’s and fish!!!
Captain Jesse takes care of the live bait, lures, fishing licenses, fishing gear, ice, bottled water, as well as cleaning the catch. Your welcome to bring a drink and snack! Your welcome to bring your own C.R.A.B’s (cold, refreshing, alcohol, beverages)
