Our party included our four children, two Grandchildren and friends for our annual vacation.  Captain Eddy welcomed us aboard earlier than our scheduled time and First Mate Spencer got us boarded, briefed and ready for our adventure in record time. 

My goal was to have everyone catch a fish and enjoy the day.  Spencer ensured that happened.  He was awesome.  Spencer paid personal attention to each one, ensuring the rigs were ready, baited and cast to the right spot. Spencer worked with everyone, coaching them on casting, catching and reeling in their fish.  Captain Eddy was keeping an eye out as well.  He provided tips to everyone on how to hold the rig and how quickly to reel their catch in.

We caught over 40+ fish not counting the undersized ones we had to throw back.

We had a grand time and want to give a special thanks to Spencer for remembering our names, his patience with us novice fisher folks, and especially for taking great care of our two special fishermen Tom and Drew.  BTW Drew was the overall winner of the day, he caught 12 keepers and numerous throwbacks.

This trip was for our boys and their girlfriends before heading back to college and work this summer.  We had good weather and water, and a great crew and captain. 

We started a little later, at 8am though this was a change for the better as our original scheduled time was 1pm for an afternoon outing.  Captain also recommended a six hour charter vs the available 5 hour, and then offered a switch to AM due to better conditions. We had a total of 8 in our group and everyone had a great time. 

The crew were great as we had mostly a group that have never gone ocean fishing before and the fist mate and mate really helped out getting lines back in the water, hooked up and fish on! 

Captain got us out quick to fishing spots and ensured we were on fish and if not, then a quick move to another spot.  We caught our fill and had a great day on the water.  Fish tacos that night!

Captain Eddy kept putting us on the red snapper while Spencer & Zack kept everyone rigged up. We also caught vermillion, white and mangrove snapper as well as trigger fish which we had to toss back since they were out of season. After our family of 10 caught our limit of snapper we trolled while heading back. We caught Bonita and a king mackerel trolling. Plenty of opportunity for pictures and videos of the teens reeling in fish. Felt a little guilty watching Spencer and Zack clean all those fish but they really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Great fishing trip for everyone. Highly recommend!!

We originally were supposed to go out on a Monday which I planned in case we caught a lot of fish it would give us an entire week.  That being said, the weather didn’t agree with my best laid out plans but Capt Ken was able to get us out on Friday.  While Ken wasn’t there, Capt Eddie, first mate Spencer and a new crew mate Braxton were awesome.  We were on a 6 hour trip and went out about 12 miles off shore.  On our first stop, Capt Eddie had us yank our lines and off we went to the next stop.  The next crop yielded quite a few fish before we picked up again.  We finished the day with 70 Mingos, 9 White Snapper and 1 Trigger.  While the boat is older, it was more than sufficient in meeting our needs.  We had 3 dads and our 5 sons ranging from 10-14 years old.  Each one said they had an incredible time.  Thank you Capt Eddie, Spencer and Braxton.

Though it was a bit cold and rough we could not have asked for a better boat/captain/crew.  Captain Ed did a great job keeping us over the fish (we caught more than several other people out on trips) and the crew kept everybody baited up and in the water.  It was great to have a boat with a cabin to hang out in just to get out of the weather. 

We landed a ton of vermilion snapper and trigger fish with one scamp grouper and some red snapper that were not in season. 

Again, the crew was great.  They were quick to get the fish off and were clear communicators when the boat was needing to move.  Best of all, fish were cleaned quickly and well shortly after getting back to dock and we really enjoyed having the fresh fish to eat that night.  There are options for local restaurant kitchens to ‘cook your catch’ but we were ready to be back home. 

So, if you are down to catch some fish I highly recommend these guys.
