Ian Moody Sportfishing Charters take you on a fishing trip to the lovely fishing grounds of Queensland, Australia. Skipper Ian Moody will meet you in Mission Beach and take you to the area’s varied fishing grounds full of many different species you can catch. Skipper Ian is a lifelong angler who’ll take you to the fish and make sure you have a great experience on the water. Join him aboard and make memories while catching fish!
Your adventure will take place on an 18’ Cairns Custom Craft saltwater fishing boat. It can fit up to 4 fishos and is powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine. The boat uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio electronics for navigation and is equipped with a wireless trolling motor for a better fishing experience. There’s also an esky to store fish and a livewell to provide live bait.
On your trip, you’ll use light tackle to bottom bounce, troll, spin, jig, as well as pop. The wide range of species you can target includes Threadfin Salmon, Queenfish, Nannygai, Red Emperor Snapper, Barramundi, Fingermark Bream, Coral Trout, and Spanish Mackerel. Kids are allowed to come aboard, you can keep the fish you catch, and there can be no smoking during the trip.
Skipper Ian will take care of all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, as well as drinks. Bring nothing but some nibble food and you’ll be ready for the fun.
