Reel Time Outfitters is a charter with a soul and passion for inshore fishing. It is operated by Captain Leon who has been fishing his whole life and loves all species swimming in the shallow waters. He loves catching Redfish and is always happy to show his guests the techniques needed to land a great catch. This is a child-friendly charter, so bring your kids along for some family fun.
You will fish aboard his 21' flats boat, which can accommodate up to five guests. It is powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. The boat is made to suit the shallow water, and the wireless trolling motor it has makes it super quiet in order not to spook the fish. It is equipped with a GPS and a fishfinder, as well as safety equipment with fire extinguishers, life jackets, first -aid equipment and a CPR-trained crew. You will also find an anchoring system and an icebox which is ideal for storing fish until you return to the shore.
Reel Time Outfitters will take you inshore, reef, wreck, flats, and backcountry fishing. They specialize in fishing for Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Cobia, Mangrove Snappers and Sharks, and you will also be targeting Black Drum, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, Tripletail, Gag and Red Grouper, and Jack Crevalle. Captain Leon will provide you with fly fishing equipment, rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits, a fishing license, and will gladly clean and fillet your catch so you can take it home for a great meal. All that you will need to bring is your food and drinks for the trip.

Captain Leo was fabulous and the whle trip was amazing!! This was a 50th Birthday gift to my husband and now I'm in a pickle because I had no idea how to top this one!!! I would recommend Captain Leo and Reel Time Outfitters to anyone looking to charter a fishing trip!! We caught a ton of fish - we'll be eating well for several meals - Mangrove Snapper, Grunt, Red Fish, and more! I am sure my husband has a great time, but so did our 11 year old son, we definitely made some core memories today! They are AWESOME! Thank you, Reel Time Outfitters!

We just wrapped up our third trip with Reel Time Outfitters, and once again, it did not disappoint! The captain goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a successful and memorable experience. Not only did we catch our daily limit of sea trout and redfish, but we also truly enjoyed every part of the adventure: the boat ride, the beautiful Gulf scenery, and the chance to learn more about what it takes to be a successful angler. If you’re looking for a fishing trip that’s both stress-free and exciting, we can’t recommend Reel Time Outfitters enough. Already looking forward to trip #4! Thank you, Captain Leo!!

We had a fantastic day on the water with this inshore charter! The captain put us on fish right away and kept us on them throughout the trip. He clearly knows the area extremely well and worked hard to make sure we had steady action. He did an awesone job making sure my teenage son had a great experience. He was patient, encouraging, and made the trip both fun and memorable for him. Professional, knowledgeable, and great with families. I’d absolutely book again and highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a productive and enjoyable day of inshore fishing. We caught at least 13 different species of fish and were able to bring home 5 different species of fish to eat.

Captain Leon did a great job. Took us to catch redfish 1st. Wonderful to be able to sight fish in beautiful clear water. We wanted to try and get some grouper (which we did) and also snook. We don't have snook in Charleston. My friend hooked one, but unfortunately it came unbuttoned. Did catch a jack cravelle! Had great conversation! My friend and me are avid fisherman. Got a great recipe for the redfish and trout we brought home. The only thing I'd have changed is that I like to take pictures of the fish we catch. Captain Leon was a little quick on the trigger to release a few that we would have liked to get pictures of. I guess I should have spoken up about it. I would definitely hire him again the next time I'm in Crystal River!
