If you’re looking for a fun-packed fishing adventure out of Clearwater, Florida, Full Throttle Fishing Charters is a perfect choice. Captain Garrett or Captain Tyler will take you to inshore and nearshore waters, flats, and the backcountry and help you land a catch you’ll be proud of. Both captains have all the skills and experience needed to make your trip a memorable one, so get ready to have a great fishing time in Florida!
Your journey starts on a 22’ Pathfinder center console bay boat which you’ll use to head out from the beautiful Seminole boat ramp in Clearwater. The boat can fit 4 anglers, runs on a 200 HP Yamaha engine, and uses GPS, fishfinder, and radio navigation technology. The boat’s also equipped with a wireless trolling motor, a livewell, and an ice-box.
Using light tackle bottom fishing, you and the captain will be targetting Tarpon, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, and Spotted Seatrout. The fish you catch is yours to keep but you can instead release it if you prefer to. Feel free to bring kids on your trip, the atmosphere will be even better and they could make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
Your captain will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, fishing licenses, drinks, as well as fish cleaning and filleting. Just bring some food and you’ll be set for the adventure.

Even a difficult day can be a fun day

It has been blazing hot for weeks in Clearwater, making the fishing a bit difficult. Garret is a honest captain. He lets you know what it will be like, but cater to what you wanna catch. We started the morning looking for snook and made some runs down South. We caught 1 but nothing to write home about. After the first hour, we didnt have enough bent rods for his liking. Garret took us North and put us on some trout. From the time the bobber hit the water, it was under. We caught our limit within 30-45mins. Constant reeling and alot of fun. Went to numerous spots, caught numerous fish including a snapper, Jack, and ended the day with a Hammerhead shark. Garret is 10/10. Highly recommend. He loves to see bent rods and happy clients. Will have to look into a Tarpon trip with him in the future.

He got us on the fish quickly and made the whole experience exciting and stress-free. The highlight of the trip was when he helped our oldest son fulfill a dream by catching a shark! It was a moment we’ll never forget and meant the world to our family.

Storm didn’t stop us

We caught many fish, although non-edible it wasn’t our control. That had more to do with the heat they had been experiencing. We had a storm roll through and our captain toughed it out under a bridge for about 20mins while we waited for it to pass and we resumed fishing. He was just fantastic with our 11 year old daughter and a blast to be around. Excellent trip on the water!

The experience was incredible! We only caught one big fish, but the weather didn't help; it was very cold and according to fishing experts, it's not a very good time to fishing. However, we hope to repeat it soon.

My son and I went out for a trip to celebrate his birthday. Captain Brennan was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. The conditions weren’t the best, but we were still able to catch some awesome fish! Redfish, Sea Trout, Jacks, and many more. Thanks for helping to make a great memory, Brennan! Highly recommend.
