Small Craft Warnings Charters is located in Cape Vincent and offers to show you a memorable time on the St. Lawrence River/Lake Ontario. Fishing for northern pike an Ontario fishing license is required in addition to a NY license but if the trip is catch and release for pike, no NY license is needed.

Brown trout and lake trout fishing starts in April while salmon does not start until mid-May. It is a long steam to the salmon grounds (22 miles) so these trips will start 1/2 hour before sunrise.

You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks as we will be fishing past lunch time and smoking is permitted-tobacco only. No children under the age of 13.
Bass fishing is drifting live bait either in the river or out on the lake.  The NY state record bass (over 9 pounds) was caught in the Cape Vincent area last year.
