Come to Port Aransas and embark on a trip that will take you to various inshore locations as well as lovely flats, all full of fish. Captain Fernando Herrera is there to make your trip fun and help you reel in a good catch. Join him aboard and have a wonderful time fishing the bountiful waters of Texas!

Your boat for the day is a 24’ Dargel Skout.

As you explore the Redfish Bay, Rockport, and Ingleside areas, you and the captain will target Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, as well as Black Drum. You can reel them in with confidence as the captain takes pride in his outfitting set ups. Using spinning and bait-caster reels paired with 7’6” rods to get that bait out their.

All the rods, reels, tackle, and lures will be waiting for you on the boat when you arrive. The captain also provides free catch cleaning and filleting, if you decide to keep it( you have the choice to catch and release or keep some for the table).  Please bring a valid TX fishing license, a day license can be purchased on the TPWD webpage.

Lastly bring your choice of drinks and snacks, and proper sun protection.

Captain Fernando has been fishing Redfish Bay for over 20 years. His father introduced him at an early age and through the years the captain has grown to love and more so respect the sport. After years of working in the transportation and the equipment rental industry, Captain Fernando has decided to follow his dream of being a small business owner and fishing guide. As they say give a man a fish he eats for the day, teach a man to fish he eats for life. That’s my goal, I want to SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE with you. Helping to make you a better angler is my goal. Fishing is not easy, we don’t always catch but we can increase our chances with proven patterns and techniques.
