PacificPond Charters offers fun-filled fishing trips for you and your loved ones – come join the crew in Charleston, Oregon and spend a day on the water you won’t soon forget! Captain Jeffrey Wilmarth can take you to many diverse fishing grounds and show you the best spots for making a catch. Join him any day you want and discover Oregon’s beautiful and rich waters.

The boat you’ll be using for the adventure is a 28’ Edge Marine OS aluminum fishing boat that can sit up to 4 guests. Thanks to its 350 HP Suzuki engine as well as GPS, fishfinder, radio, and radar electronics, the boat will safely take you to your fishing destinations in no time. The onboard fishing gear includes a livewell, outriggers, and downriggers.

You and Captain Jeffrey will be fishing for Halibut, Rockfish, Coho Salmon, and Chinook Salmon. The techniques you can use to attract them include light tackle, bottom fishing, big game fishing, trolling, as well as jigging.
The fish you catch stays with you and kids are allowed on board. Also, keep in mind that smoking is not allowed during the trip.

The captain will take care of fishing rods, reels, and tackle. Bait is not included in the trip, so make sure to check with the captain about what your options are. Also, remember to bring valid fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.

As a young angler, Captain Jeffery's family introduced him to saltwater fishing. This lifelong passion was reignited in 2015 when he purchased his first offshore boat. In 2020, Captain Jeff took a sabbatical from his career as a firefighter and started a saltwater guide service that is now known as PacificPond Charters. Captain Jeff is passionate and committed in providing a safe and fun environment for anglers of all ages to enjoy saltwater fishing. His favorite fishery is Pacific Halibut, one of the only big game fisheries in Oregon. There is something exciting about fishing for a fish that can be over 100 pounds.
