In 2 Deep Charters Belize runs angling trips out of Belize City and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Your captain will aim to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, popping, spearfishing, and spinning. You’re looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Barracuda, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Grouper, and Marlin, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 37’ Intrepid boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet, an ice box, and a fighting chair. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Capt. Stef runs trips together with his first mate, who’s there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.
