Come join the exclusive fishing for Salmon in Todalselven in Norway! Todalselven is a unique clear-watered river with 8 km of very varied fishing. It is located in the most beautiful Norwegian nature and in harmony with Norwegian valley agriculture, where history and present meet.
The Salmon lodge from 1901 is an incredible piece of history that you’re allowed to participate in. The lodge is completely intact and thoroughly renovated inside without ruining history. The atmosphere and catering are very special and top class. Look forward to an amazing fishing trip and atmosphere beyond the ordinary.
Arve Evensen is the host and guide and he is an outstanding fly fisher and is a part of the valley and the river’s history. All tours are from Saturday to Saturday. The maximum number of participants is 6 guests. It’s Catch and Release and for fly fishing.
You’ll be accommodated in single rooms in the historic Salmon lodge built by Lord Philip in 1901.
The trip takes place on 8 km of Todalselven, including private water only for the guests. On the stretches that are available to everyone, only 16 fishing licenses are issued, of which your group has 6.
Fishing is divided into 4 zones, which are fished in turn at 6-hour intervals. There is access to 15 km of unique dry fly fishing in Todalselven above Talgøfossen where you catch Brown Trout. Boat rentals are available on the fjord, which is full of Sej, Cod, Makreller, Halibut, and Searun Brown Trout.
