Bait House Charters
Bait House Charters is a fishing charter based in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Join Captain Brad and travel up to 100 miles out to explore one of the best bottom fishing locations around. He will make sure to provide you with a tailored experience, regardless of whether you are a veteran angler or just getting your feet wet. If you prefer fly fishing, Captain Brad will be able to accommodate your needs.
How far you go out will vary depending on what you want to catch and how long you want to stay. Some of the fish species you can expect to encounter are Groupers, Snappers, Amberjack, Kingfish, as well as other pelagic species. Captain Brad also specializes in catching Hogfish, one of the most delicious fish out there. There is also a shark fishing package for any who would like to try their hand at hunting for Hammerheads, Bull Sharks, and others.
His boat is a 33' Dusky center console boat. It is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and can develop a speed of up to 38 knots. The boat is equipped with all the necessary USCG equipment and navigational equipment such as GPS and a fishfinder device. It also has two large coolers to store caught fish as well as any drinks you might decide to bring. This is a very versatile boat that can handle any sort of offshore trip, as well as get you to the action quickly.
Captain Brad will provide you with all the necessary gear and bait, and the first mate will clean and fillet any catch caught once you're back onshore. Gratuity for the first mate of around 15-20% is expected and appreciated. Make sure to bring polarised sunglasses as well as any drinks or snacks if you like.

Brother and I did 8 hour trip, definitely recommend to anybody. Brad and Ben were helpful, Respectful, and super chill guys. Brads got alot of experience on the waters and knows exactly were to go. awesome camera to see exactly what fish are where. We caught exactly what we wanted to just a good variety. We went March 1st on a sunny day. Grouper were the most fun to catch if you’re strong enough to reel them. Hogfish are the coolest looking fish and best eating. We caught Hog Fish, Gag Grouper, Scant Grouper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Corgis, and alot of Grunts.

Cpt Brad and the Deckhand, Skyler, were great. Brad reached out the day before my trip to make sure all of my questions were answered. I was booked for an 8 hour trip, the crew did awesome at putting us on fish and were very patient with my friends and I who became more drunk and annoying as the hours past. Some of the more negitive reviews that I can see associated with this Charter could definitely be chalked up to the bluntness of the crew. My advice for people who are looking to have their feeling spared, maybe go surf fishing or find a pier. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and did very well at giving us the appropriate tools to bring in the dinner. If you want someone to give you a hug and say “maybe next time” when you miss a fish, maybe look elsewhere. If you wanna go out to catch some dinner and can take instructions without getting your feelings upset, these guys will work hard to get you there. The next time im in Florida I’ll definitely be booking another trip with these guys.
I recently took my two boys (8yrs and 10yrs) on a six hour fishing trip with Bait House Charters. Brad and Ben were excellent from the start! Communication was great and they handled every aspect of the excursion once we were on board…I don’t think we baited a single hook! We were on a steady bite all day long and caught more species than we can remember! We will definitely be booking with them again when we return!
Captian Brad and his 1st mate were awesome. They are very knowledgeable. We had 5 people from age 12-66 and we all caught so many fish that we lost count. This is the charter you want to book!
captain brad and deckhand skyler were excellent to fish with! had a great day with plenty of action. caught several species of fish. after fishing we had a catch and cook prepared right down the marina lot at salt cracker. highly recommend trying that. Brad and Skyler were very great keeping our group of 4 fishing. We will book them again in the future.
