Mayan Sharks Fishing Tours
Mayan Sharks Fishing Tours is located in Playa Del Carmen and offers you a memorable fishing time offshore. Captains Sam and Eddy want to share their 20+ years of experience as scuba instructor fishermen and their spearfishing knowledge. Come navigate through the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea while you wait for the first bite on the fishing rod. That bite could take you to your personal best record or could be a solid strong fish that will put your muscles and fisherman skills on the test.
Your adventure begins on a 26’ Attila central console, customized to navigate efficiently in shallow and deep water along the coast of Playa Del Carmen. The boat fits up to 5 anglers. Downriggers and outriggers will drag your bait and lures at different depths to try to catch different kinds of fish at the same time.
Fishing with the youngest family members is always fun. Taking them bottom fishing for Triggerfish, Grunt, and Yellowtail Snapper will help them master their skills to catch big game fish in the future.
During the Amberjack season, the crew will take you jigging. Reeling to the surface 25-pound Amberjack will surely engrave great memories in your heart. If you prefer to go into the water with a spear gun to hunt and choose your fish, your crew offers spear gun classes for beginners. If you’re an experienced underwater hunter, it will guide you to the best spots in the area.
Having ceviche with a fresh catch for lunch or taking a break to snorkel and admire the corals and reef fish during your trip is always possible. Just let your captain know whenever you make your reservation.
All the fishing gear is included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip. It also supplies drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
