Samaki I is located in Cancún and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Come enjoy the spectacular Caribbean waters along with its many species available for an amazing fishing experience.

Samaki I is a 30’ Lurhs sport fishing boat powered by twin 315 HP Yanmar engines. This spacious vessel can take up to 6 anglers and Just as the captain’s other boat, it is equipped with the best fishing technology and electronics, ready to tackle those biggies out there. The boat also comes with an ice-box.

Capt. Enrique will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Barracuda, Dolphin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Marlin, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, and big game fishing.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Our pier has a dock fee of $10.00USD

When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, an additional 5% charge will apply.

A $10 dock fee applies to all trips.

Great Day on the Water

El Capitan Pollo and his crew were very accommodating and gave us a fun day. In 6 hours we pulled in close to 20 fish. There were plenty of drinks and snacks for the whole trip and they made sure we were happy. The crew was working hard the whole time to make sure we filled the fish box. I highly recommend fishing with the Samaki crew.

Great day of fishing, crew did a great job handling barracuda. Captian was great at accommodating request to fish deep for for grouper, didn't land any. crew made ceviche on the boat fron a yellowtail and provided drinks

WOW! WHAT A DAY!

From the time we arrived, to the time we got off the boat, the crew and captain took care of everything. Come drinks and snacks were waiting for us. And the fishing was fantastic. I booked this fishing charter for some time with my son's and it was awesome. The fish were biting and we had many times when there were two fish at the same time. We will definitely be back!

It was a choppy day so we were upgraded to the larger Samaki II vessel for free. I would recommend the 6 or 8 hour trip if going after the big sportfish species. It's about an hour and half or so to the spot to start fishing. Overall was a great experience. We had several exciting hits from sailfish that didn't hook up, but then we were able to make it happen with a great fish at the tail end of the day. We also reeled in a nice bonita and a barracuda to keep it interesting during the day. Captain and crew were great, always asking if we needed anything. They definitely knew what they were doing, and how to handle the boat and tackle in the heavy chop.

Fishing with Samaki charters

8 Hour Trip on March 5, 2025 • 2 adults

My friend and I spent the day fishing with Samaki charters had an excellent day of fishing. We caught sailfish barracuda, and bonito. The captain and deckhand were both very good at their jobs and had us on good fish most of the day. I recommend the 8 hour trip so you have enough time to go out after trophy fish.we caught two trophy sailfish and really nice barracuda. The only issue we had with the entire trip was that the crew didn't speak very much English and we don't speak Spanish. Be sure you find out what fish are in season when you are down here so you know what to expect. Overall the trip and Samaki charters were excellent, I definitely recommend them to anyone.
