Based in Galveston, Texas Fishing Charters is a family owned and operated fishing charter. The founder and guide is Captain Zach, who comes from a long line of great fishermen. He won’t simply guide you to fish, he’ll also do his best to help you understand fishing techniques and learn a thing or two about conservation.
You’ll be fishing on a 34’ Competition boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console has been restored in 2021 and she’s powered y twin 350 HP Yamaha engines. Besides all safety and navigational electronics, the boat has a private toilet and she’s wheelchair accessible.
Your main targets will be tasty inshore species, such as Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Depending on the season, there are other species you can catch, such as Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Tripletail, and Sheepshead.
Texas Fishing Charters fully follows all USCG fishing and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable trip for every guest. The captain will take care of all fuel, bait and tackle to set you up for a successful day of catching fish and making lasting memories. After the trip, he’ll also clean and bag the fish you want to keep.

Competition (Center console) originally built in 2011, and restored in 2021. Powered by 2 350HP Yamaha V8 engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots.
Types of fishing
Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 3 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the deposit will be charged.
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
