Texas Fishing Charters – 34’

Based in Galveston, Texas Fishing Charters is a family owned and operated fishing charter. The founder and guide is Captain Zach, who comes from a long line of great fishermen. He won’t simply guide you to fish, he’ll also do his best to help you understand fishing techniques and learn a thing or two about conservation.

You’ll be fishing on a 34’ Competition boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console has been restored in 2021 and she’s powered y twin 350 HP Yamaha engines. Besides all safety and navigational electronics, the boat has a private toilet and she’s wheelchair accessible.

Your main targets will be tasty inshore species, such as Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Depending on the season, there are other species you can catch, such as Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Tripletail, and Sheepshead.

Texas Fishing Charters fully follows all USCG fishing and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable trip for every guest. The captain will take care of all fuel, bait and tackle to set you up for a successful day of catching fish and making lasting memories. After the trip, he’ll also clean and bag the fish you want to keep.

Texas Fishing Charters invites you for a day of fun, with a captain whose genuine passion for fishing and hospitality make all the difference.

I learned how to fish predominantly from my grandfather and my uncle here in Galveston Bay. Then, I continued to learn from them on Lake Livingston. I have always had a great love for fishing and the outdoors. On my father's side of the family, I am from 19 generations of commercial fishermen originating from the Isle of Vis in Croatia. My father passed when I was very young and without his influence, I studied graphic design and business. Eventually found my way on my own back to fishing. For the past 8 years I have never been happier than being a charter fishing guide. I really enjoy learning more each day and teaching others techniques, and I love spending time working with children on their fishing techniques and help to build their character.
