We had so much fun with Captain David. We had a very eventful morning with tarpon tailing everywhere! It was a sight to see! We hooked a few briefly and then finally boated 3 in quick succession then things died off tremendously. Nothing he can do about that. The fish just got tired of showing up. We had two large tarpon hooked over the next hour or so but both broke off the line. After a short assist of another boat whose battery died we hit one more spot and were rewarded with our 4 and final (and largest at ~15lbs) tarpon. A great day on the water with a great guide! Highly recommend David!

Capt. David is a fisherman’s fisherman. Passionate, knowledgeable, and all about the pursuit. During our time in San Juan we wanted to capitalize on the local Tarpon fishery and after reading the reviews on Fishing Booker, we decided to book our 4 hour charter with Capt. David. He did not disappoint. We worked through a steady pick of fish from start to finish. His expert knowledge of the waters kept us on fish from the first spot to the last. I am almost exclusively a light tackle spinning/conventional fisherman, and really wanted to take advantage of an opportunity to land a tarpon on the fly. Capt. David worked hard to make this a reality, giving me every opportunity and putting me at every advantage to make the catch. We look forward to fishing with Capt. David every time we make the trip to San Juan.

David was very knowledgeable, courteous, alert and patient with myself and family. Never felt rushed or like he didn’t want to be there. He answered all of our questions, entertained all of our conversation that had nothing to do with fishing and 3 of the 4 of us were able to catch fish before my two younger kids were ready to go lol. The added bonus of his sun shade allowed us to stay longer or else my wife would’ve sent us packing up way sooner. Thanks for everything David. Whenever we make it back to Puerto Rico, we’ll be looking for him again.

My wife and I were in Purto Rico for a week and I wanted to go fishing.  After reading reviews from several diffrent companies in the area, we decided to go with Capt. Dave.  Booking was easy and the capt reached out to me that afternoon.  I felt confident that we made the right choice.  The morning of our trip, Dave had come to meet us out before the docks and introduced himself.  We chatted for a bit and we’re underway on a very clean, well stocked boat.  We made a few stops around the bay looking for a hook-up.  Dave put us on the fish but he can’t make them eat.  Finally after giving it a legit shot, we moved area completely and set lines again.  It was just a short wait before we were reeling in Tarpon.  Captain Dave knew his waters, his productive locations and we had an amazing time catching fish and making memories that will last a lifetime.  We can’t say thank you enough for this experience.  From beginning to end, Dave will be there to communicate, guide and teach you.  A DEFINITE MUST.  Thank you again Captain Dave
