Here We Go Sport Fishing is currently located in Emeryville, California and is offering trips throughout the Central Bay and outside of the Golden Gate Bridge

Capt. Matt will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. Matt is currently offering full day and half day trips chasing Halibut, Striped Bass, Rock Fish, Ling Cod and even Blue Fin Tuna

Your fishing adventure starts on a 30’ Grady White boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a private/roomy toilet, an enclosed cabin, and a space heater for those colder-than-normal days.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license and Sturgeon report card (if needed) ahead of time. Capt. Matt can not leave the dock without them.

    This is a trip of a lifetime. The opportunity to chase one of the worlds most sought after sport fishes, the Blue Fin Tuna. Fish are averaging 100-150 lbs with some tipping the scale at 250 lbs. On this trip it is not uncommon to see wildlife like Whales/Pacific Whiteside Dolphins/Sharks/rare birds. We will depart the Emeryville Marina at 5:00 am and head to the fishing grounds. I've been running my own boats and fishing trips since 1988 when I purchased my first boat. In 2009 we purchased our current boat, a 2001 Grady White 300 Marlin. I recieved my USCG Credentials in 2015 and am now living my dream of being a full time captain. For 45 years I've been absolutely nuts about fishing and everything outdoors. I've evolved however and my satisfactions now come from seeing others enjoy what I've enjoyed for so long. I have fished the far reaches of the Golden Gate coast to the upper Sacramento river and everywhere in between. My wife Sonya has been by my side for the past 29 years and she is a key component to my success and the success of Here We Go Sport Fishing. ​
