We drove up from south of Fayetteville to fish so Aaron met us in a spot that was conveniently located for us. Our sons had moved to NW Arkansas recently and had expressed interest in trying some fishing in the area so while we were here for a visit on Labor Day weekend.

Aaron did a great job of getting us on fish and avoiding boat traffic as much as he could on the holiday weekend.

We had a lot of activity, everyone caught fish. We caught quite a few nice sized keepers and released a lot that were small.

Each of our sons had a bass on late in the day that broke the line so they have memories and fish stories to remember about the “ones that got away” til next time.

I booked this guided fishing trip for my husband and my 17/14 year old boys. Husband was not able to go so I went instead and I am so thankful for this experience. Captain Aaron knows the lake and he knows it well. He provided the right tackle/bait for the time of day as well as the area of the lake. In the morning we fished toward the top, where the fish were jumping and my boys had great luck catching some bass. As the day went on, we moved on to drop shots and man, the fish were coming in left and right! We know that a captain cannot control the fish right…but he absolutely knew where to take us and coached us all along the way. He even made it a goal to make sure I, as Mom, caught a few fish too!

If you have the chance to book a trip with Aaron, don’t hesitate! We booked last minute for a half day and by the time it ended we wished we had gone longer. Communication was top notch and Aaron made the whole process easy by providing pick up and drop off on the dock at our resort. He was extremely accommodating by giving us options for location and species to fish for and tailored the trip to our want and needs. We ended up having a successful day and caught a wide variety of fish! Not to mention his fun and friendly attitude made the trip even better. Thanks again!
