Mike takes you on a kid and family-friendly fishing cruise aboard his well-equipped vessel capable of shallow water exploration. The captain specializes in fishing constant-action spots with a great potential of some keepers to take home and eat. No experience is necessary. Your trip can also include an island stop as well as an added option of grilled brats or hot dogs around the Fort Desoto State Park and Shell Key Preserve.

Capt. Mike will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 3 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Redfish, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and Flounder, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 17’ Carolina Skiff V1765 boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

    You'll have constant action as the captain's trips are all designed for kids and families. Six hours allow you to hit the early bite at one of the captain's best spots and then you have the option to tour around Egmont Key to see the Fort Dade Ruins as well as search for shells and sand dollars at Shell Key Preserve and beautiful Fort Desoto State Park. Grilled brats and dogs are available at an extra fee.
