Fish N Trips Charters is located in Paihia and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. It’s a family-owned and run charter business specialising in small number bookings. Skipper Peter is fully qualified and has 20 years of experience in the charter industry both in New Zealand and Australia.
Skipper Pete will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 7-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper and Hapuka, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, and bottom fishing.
Your fishing adventure starts on a fully surveyed 28’ Saunders classic boat that runs on a 200 HP Volvo engine and safely takes up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and is a safe roomy fishing platform with cabin space for you to relax when the fishing gets too tiring.
All the equipment is supplied but feel free to bring your favourite gear.Your crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with tea and coffee for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own drinks.
