Ocean Blue Charters
Ocean Blue Charters is located in Dagsboro and offers to show you a memorable time on the waters of the Indian River Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Hop aboard the Ocean Blue for a day of fun and excitement.
Your fishing adventure starts on the Ocean Blue, a 26’ Sea Fox center console with all new electronics installed in 2020. She can safely take up to 3 anglers and comes with a toilet. The boat is located just minutes from the bay and ocean for a short ride to the fishing grounds. Some trips are limited to 3 passengers to allow room for everyone to move about the vessel and enjoy themselves. Exceptions will be allowed on a few trips with the captain’s approval. The offshore, 10 and 8-hour trips will usually include a mate who works for tips, generally 15-20% of to total trip cost.
Capt. Les will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, involving 4 to 12-hour trips. You’ll target a variety of species from Spot and Croaker in the bay for the kids to Flounder and Seabass on the reefs and wrecks to pelagic species, depending on the conditions. You can expect to use techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, and spinning. After your trip, your catch may be taken to the marina for professional processing to take home for a great meal or put in the freezer for a later date.
The Capt. will do his best to put your group on the fish and provide an enjoyable time on the water. Tackle, bait, ice, and licensing are all included so you can concentrate on enjoying the trip. The Ocean Blue carries all USCG-required safety equipment for all passengers.
Spending time on the water with family and friends is a special experience. No better time than now to book a trip on the Ocean Blue and let the adventure begin.
The crew looks forward to having you on the Ocean Blue soon.
