Capt. Randy has been fishing in and around Port A for the last 25 years and since he lives and fishes here full-time, he is here to get you on some fish and to make sure you have fun doing it.
In 2021, Captain Randy caught the first Red Tagged Redfish in the CCA/STAR tournament and won a truck and boat, so make sure to join CCA and enter the STAR tournament that runs Memorial Day-Labor Day and you might just get lucky to win your very own truck and boat! You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, jigging, and throwing lures, depending on what fish you’re going after. As part of their 4 1/2 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Snapper (seasonal only), Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder and Speckled Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your adventure begins on board a brand new 2023 Majek Illusion 25-plus Bay boat with a Yamaha 250 SHO that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The boat is fitted with a Wet Sounds complete stereo system, Minn Kota wireless auto deploy/stow trolling motor, Garmin sonar/radar, and two Raptor shallow water anchors.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
