PV Hook Up - Bella Del Mar
PV Hook Up is an established name in the Puerto Vallarta fishing scene, with a range of vessels and a variety of trip options. The Bella Del Mar offers anything from four-hour stints, fishing the Banderas Bay for Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Bonito, and more, to 12-hour offshore extravaganzas, venturing 50 miles out in search of giant pelagics like Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish!
The Bella Del Mar is a 29’ Super Panga center console with room aboard for up to 4 guests. Fully restored in 2015, she is equipped with fishfinder, outriggers, and a livewell bursting with bait, so you can track down and target the very best out there. Offshore, she comes into her own with Tuna tubes and a fighting chair, allowing you to confidently take on some truly monstrous hook-ups.
How far out you go is entirely down to you. If all you are after is a half day fishing and snorkeling in the calm waters of the Banderas Bay, then they have the perfect trip for you. A bit more ambitious? Book in 8 hours and hit El Morro, 20 miles out, for a chance to target Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna. Heading further still, you reach Corbetena, some 36 miles offshore. Here you will have the chance to land Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, and even Marlin.
If you are looking for the ultimate experience, however, you can blast straight past these lesser fishing spots on your way out to El Banco. At 50 miles out, it takes time to get to, and the water can be rough, but if you are looking for the biggest Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, as well as massive Yellowfin Tuna, this is where you need to be.
Whatever you choose to do, you can trust in PV Hook Up to work with you, talking you through what you can expect to catch, and building your perfect trip with you. Their goal is to make every charter as special as possible, whatever that means for you, and they will work tirelessly to give you that trip of a lifetime, that you can look back on and smile for decades to come.
