High Flying Saltwater Charters is a fishing adventure for people looking for a fun time on the water catching fish with a Capt who truly loves his job of helping make family and friends memories while in Destin.

Capt. Wes will make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Mackerel, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and Grouper, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 24' Sea Born boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a GPS, radar an ice-box, livewells, and a wireless trolling motor.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the trip.

Great trip. Weather wasn’t looking very favorable contacted WES and he let us know what the conditions were going to be and that as long as we didn’t mind getting a little bit wet, we could make it work and he absolutely did. He was very knowledgeable and just made everything a fun time . Works great with the kids and explaining everything to them and getting us on the fish he also worked with the weather and kept us safe. look forward to booking with him again in the future you won’t be disappointed.

Great kids fishing trip!

Captain Wes was awesome, got us out and on fish quick. The kids loved the ride out and then they had a blast fishing in several spots and catching lots of fish. We even got to see some dolphins and a sea turtle. It was a fun filled morning that they won’t forget. We highly recommend Captain Wes and High Flying Saltwater Charters. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town. It was a great, fun family day. Thanks again!

Wes took my boys and me out on an easy ride and put us on fish immediatley. We couldn’t get the bait on the hooks fast enough. My boys (age 10,9, and 6) said it was the best fishing trip they have ever been on. Highly reccomend this two hour trip for young kids. It was action packed and we caught at least 7 different species in our hour of fishing.

Awesome time with Captain Wes!

Our first time out in the ocean and it did not disappoint. We caught a big red grouper and a nice red snapper. Had three or four other big snappers on but just couldn't land them. Caught a bunch of keeper vermilion snapper. Had enough fish we took it right into the marina restaurant and had it fresh and it was so good. His mate Landon is a great kid and helped us all so much. Captain Wes was great with my kids and wanted to make sure they had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Our family fishing trip with Wes and Josh was wonderful. They were laid back making the trip enjoyable. They put us on fish and we could have reeeled in more than we did bit the sharks and dolphins liked our catch too! Thank you guys for the enjoyable trip!!
