Smallwood’s Guide Fishing
Join Smallwood’s Guide Fishing on a fishing adventure in Everglades City. Your host and guide for the day is Captain Kenny, who’s a 6th generation native fishing in the area. He grew up on the water and is raising his kids the same way his family has raised him. Captain Kenny will do anything in his power to make a great experience for you and your group.
The trip starts on a 21’ Sailfish boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This flats boat has been recently restored in 2022 and she’s powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. The vessel features all the fishing equipment you’ll need for the day, including a cooler, live bait tank, and even snorkeling equipment if you feel like jumping in.
Depending on how long you want to stay on the water, you can choose between a half day and a full day trip. These bountiful waters never lack diversity, so it’s hard to mention all fish species you can catch here - from inshore Redfish, Black Drum, Trout, Tarpon, and Snook, to offshore Goliath Grouper, Red Snapper, and Mahi Mahi.
It’s easy to get ready for this trip, as Captain Kenny covers almost everything - your fishing equipment, licenses, snacks, and drinks. He’ll also let you keep the catch and clean it for you free of charge. You just need to bring your sun protection and sunglasses.
Pick a trip and enjoy your day on the water. Smallwood’s Guide Fishing awaits you!
