Sea Dog Charters specializes in family-friendly fishing trips out of Richmond Hill, GA. Your guide, James Baker, is a USCG-licensed captain with life-long experience fishing off the coast of Savanah. You can expect to target lots of fish, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and leave the captain’s boat with something delicious to take home for the family!
Your boat for the day is a 21’ Trophy center console, outfitted with state-of-the-art navigational electronics and fishfinding technology. This boat is built with a durable hull that’s designed to take the choppiest offshore conditions with ease. Her fishing platform is spacious and accommodates up to 5 guests and everyone can fish at the same time.
You’ll be provided with top-of-the-line Penn rods and reels and the captain buys live bait before every trip. On longer excursions, you’ll be fishing up to 23 miles offshore to target a wide range of species, including Red Snapper, Cobia, Black Seabass, Sheepshead, and more.
On shorter trips, you’ll stay inshore to fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Bluefish, and others. Capt. James loves to bottom fish and takes his customers fishing above artificial reefs and sunken ships. Here, you can target delicious bottom-dwellers such as Triggerfish.
After your trip, the captain will offer to clean and fillet your catch so it’s ready for the grill when you get home. Your fishing license for the day is also included in the price, so all you need to do is arrive 15 minutes early, ready to fish, and the rest will be taken care of.
Bring some snacks and drinks to stay energized for the adventure ahead, and pack bug spray, sunscreen, and a towel in case you want to take a dip. Capt. James will make sure everything else is set up for you so you can sit back, relax, and focus on the catch!
Invite the family and kids, book your trip with Sea Dog Charters, and get ready to experience local Georgia fishing like never before!
