Come on aboard with Capt. Joseph, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 12-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Bass, Flounder, Seabass, Tuna, Bluefish, and Shark, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your adventure begins on board a 35’ Donelle boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet and ice box. Departing from Shark River Inlet, the vessel is conveniently located at the Belmar Manutti Marina; just minutes away from the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 195.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.

You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.

In addition to Striped Bass, you may have a good chance at catching Gator Blues, Albacore, Bonito, and maybe even a Bluefin Tuna!

    Among one of the most popular species to catch at the Jersey Shore, Blackfish, a.k.a. Tautog, presents an addicting challenge to all anglers. Blackfish reside in bottom structure that is often rough and snaggable, whether it's rock or wreckage. When you hook a quality Blackfish, they often take a hard nose dive to a space within the wreck as if their lives depend on it. This fight is what the avid Tautog fisherman lives for. Clam and Green crab provided, white crabs when available.

    This Mahi and Meat Charter is one of my personal favorites because we will start or end the day, depending on conditions, pot hopping for Mahi Mahi, and transition to deep water bottom fishing. In the blue water, you can see the gold and green colors of the ‘Dolphin’ from several yards away. We will target these fish by finding floating structure and pitching jigs and bait at the pots/debris in the water. These fish are so fast and athletic it's common for half the fight to be out of the water.

    Sharking specialty charter is not one for the faint of heart. On this trip we target whatever Shark is hanging around the ‘chum slick.’ During the month of June, whether you want to believe it or not, the local waters are loaded with an assortment of Shark species ranging from 40 to well over 1000 pounds. Take turns with the crew fighting some of the toughest apex predators residing in our oceans. If we catch the right one, you have the choice to bring it home for some steaks on the grill or to release it

    If you are a hardcore 'Tog' fisherman, this trip is the one for you. Filling a box of keepers to take home is always a nice goal to have, but on this trip, we are after jumbos. With the extended fishing hours, we are able to access areas that we generally can't reach during the standard inshore Blackfish trip. The bottom we will be putting you on is proven grounds, home to some truly massive Blackfish. It is not uncommon to see multiple Blackfish between 10 and 20 pounds in a trip.

    Jump aboard and join us on a hunt for some sushi-grade tackle busters. On these trips, we will be targeting bluefin and yellowfin tuna. Depending on where the fish has been biting, these trips can take you from 8 miles off the beach to 75 miles offshore as we search for our best chance at getting you on the meat. The fish we will be targeting can be between 40 and 150 lbs! We have all the gear ready to go for you. Just bring wasabi and soy sauce!

By the age of 15, I had secured a job as a deckhand on the Dauntless where I then proceeded to get my 100-ton Master Captains license. I have been running trips ever since I got my license in 2015.
