Eastern Florida Shark Hunters LLC
Eastern Florida Shark Hunters invites you to join them on a perfect day at the beach. Based in New Smyrna Beach, FL, they run fishing trips year round. The memories you make here are going to be stories you’ll be telling for years. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned angler, you’re welcome to join on this trip.
As your trip takes place at the beach, no boat is needed. And no boat means no seasickness! Imagine having fun on a relaxing day at the beach and then it starts - you hear the reels start to scream and rush to the rod - it’s biting! The battle starts and you start reeling them in. Of course, your captain will be by your side at all times, giving you advice and assistance if necessary.
Some of the species you can go after are Lemon, Blacktip, Hammerhead, Bull, and Tiger Shark. However, you don’t keep your catch. As conservation is a very important aspect of this charter, the Sharks are being tagged and released back in alliance with NOAA’s Cooperative Shark Tagging Program.
All fishing equipment is included by the crew, covering also your snacks and drinks. To make the whole experience more enjoyable, they also bring a sun canopy, beach chairs and foldable tables, sunscreen, speakers, and bug spray.
Completion of the Florida Shore-Based Shark Fishing Course is required for all anglers 16 and older who are targeting sharks from shore. The Florida Shark Fishing Course and the Permit are both free, and usually take between 15-20 minutes to complete.
A valid Florida Saltwater Fishing License is also required.
