When In Rome Guide Service
Capt. Kevin offers bay and near shore fishing trips picking up in Port Aransas and surrounding areas. When in Rome welcomes all ages and is family-friendly!
You can expect lots of action with rod and reel in hand and its up to you to set the hook. At times we do use dead bait, normally when using bait it's live perch, mullet, croaker, and shrimp. If you are wanting an artificial-only trip, that can be provided. Capt. Kevin is proficient with all soft plastics and hard baits targeting Reds, Trout, and Flounder. You name the game, and we will provide it. I always say “When in Port Aransas, fish as the locals do”.
The 2017 Shoalwater 23 Cat, which can fish up to 5 anglers, is the first choice in Texas coastal bay fishing. Powered by a 250 HP Yamaha SHO engine, it uses all the modern fish-finder and GPS technology for good location and navigation. We will be using light tackle to catch Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, as well as Flounder.
Capt. Kevin will supply you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait you’ll need for your trip
Be sure to bring your licenses, an ice chest is provided for drinks along with dry storage.
